"Do unto others as you'd have done to you"~ The Golden Rule to Live by!
You are what you EAT and WHO you hang out with! Choices=Outcome~ what's YOUR choice??
I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
I'm so sorry Darla!
I can really relate to this. My best and closest friend of 13 years died 3 years ago at the age of 20 from a very rare and nasty cancer. She was a very, very active and loveable girl and in a matter of a year was paralyzed and in a wheelchair. I spent almost every single day with her..until the day she died. I told her that I promised to live my life to the fullest -- to live for me AND for her... to make her mom proud and remember what she was all about.
So anytime I am scared of doing something, I always think about her. That quote REALLY fits my situation. Thank you!
Darla~I am so sorry that you are going through this, I truely believe it is the most difficult type of death for family, friends, co-workers to cope with, especially when it comes out of the blue like this. I will keep you and your friend's family in my prayers for healing and peace in this difficult time. Thank you so much for sharing that beautiful quote! It is definitely the way I have started living my life since my depression has been in remission. Love and Hugs! Nicole
I feel for you my friend. I have never personally known anyone that has commited suicide. But have tried it twice in my life. (a long time ago.) One never knows what one will do until your there. I feel for you, and your friend. The pain and agony she had to be in to get to that point. Sounds like she hid it very well.
I love the quote. I am going to write it down, and post it on my computer at work. I think it will remind me of all that I have achieved, and all I want to achieve. & maybe give me the courage to try new things.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you, your co workers, and her family today.

Hugs to you Darla. There is something about this kind of death that adds an additional sting with others left behind. I still, every year on May 4 remember the birthday of a college friend named Pete. Everyone loved him, he was very funny and talented. He took his own life a very short time after college graduation and I always remember him when his birhtday comes and wish he could have known life is not always so terrible.

What a sad visitation it must have been, especially to see her hubby and 3 daughters there. I can imagine the pain she must have been feeling, as I've been there. But like you mentioned last week, it's hard to know if she was strong or weak to be able to committ such a horrific deed. I pray for her family and friends who are grasping to understand this very concept and how to move on without her. Thank you for sharing the quote, what a great realiziation in the wake of such a tragedy. Praying for you too my dear!
How sad, I am so sorry hun. Such a difficult concept to understand when it is so unexpected.
May all that knew her remember her with love and all that mourn be touched by the comfort and peace of our Lord.
Hugs and prayers my friend.
